The state administration is constantly monitoring the movement of Cyclone ‘Mocha’. Although the cyclone has not yet entered the state, all positive preparations have been made by the administration. The State Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert, especially in Gomati, South and Dhalai districts in Tripura.
Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has issued yellow signal in the remaining five districts. All departments involved in dealing with natural disasters including NDRF, SDRF, Fire Service have been kept ready. SPO Dr Sarat Kumar Das informed the media about this on Friday.
