BJP holds massive rally at Dharmanagar to celebrate 75th anniversary of the Constitution

Agartala, 18th January 2025:   On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Constitution, the central leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a massive public meeting in front of the District Magistrate’s office today. The event was part of the Constitution Gaurav Abhiyan was initiated by the 56-Dharmanagar Mandal of the BJP.

Thousands of BJP supporters led by Assembly Speaker and MLA Biswa Bandhu Sen marched from the Vivekananda Swardha Satabarshiki Bhavan through the city, culminating in a rally in front of the DM office. The rally was also attended by Dharmanagar Mandal President Shyamal Nath, District Vice-President Karuna Nath and other leaders.

Addressing the gathering, Speaker and MLA Sen highlighted the significance of the Constitution Gaurav Abhiyan. “This campaign is being conducted all over the country with the initiative of the Bharatiya Janata Party, and this rally is a part of it organized by the Dharmanagar Mandal,” he said. Sen emphasized the historical amendments to the constitution made by former Congress Prime Ministers Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, and Rajiv Gandhi, as well as Dr. BR Ambedkar, the author of the constitution.

“In 2014, our Prime Minister Narendra Modiji bowed to the country’s constitution, considering it as the nation’s wealth and always respecting it,” Sen remarked. He expressed his gratitude to the thousands of people who attended the rally, stating, “The people of Dharmanagar have repeatedly shown that they are always by our side.”

The rally highlighted the BJP’s commitment to upholding the values enshrined in the constitution and celebrating its legacy.
