BJP Mahila Morcha charts blueprint for electoral success, focuses on women’s participation

Agartala, 12th February 2024 :   Mimi Majumder, the President of state BJP Mahila Morcha, asserted on Monday that women are poised to play a pivotal role in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, aiming to secure two lotus symbols from the state in support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

During the inaugural state committee meeting of Pradesh Mahila Morcha at the State BJP party office in Agartala, Majumder addressed the gathering of 49 members, representing leaders from various regions. The meeting was strategically convened with an eye on the impending Lok Sabha elections, intending to devise a comprehensive plan for the polls.

Expressing gratitude for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s unwavering dedication to the nation’s development, Majumder highlighted the strides made in women’s empowerment during his tenure. She underlined the introduction of several schemes aimed at uplifting women and cited instances such as the distribution of ration shops among women in Tripura over the past five years.

“In this meeting, we will deliberate on strategies to contribute to a 10% increase in votes during the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, aspiring to see Narendra Modi re-elected as the Prime Minister of India. Our confidence lies in the significant role women will play, and our outreach efforts will encompass all segments of the population, showcasing the positive impact of various government initiatives,” she added.
