Agartala, August 28, 2022: Jagat Prakash Nadda, the national president of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) arrived at Agartala for two-day state visit on Sunday morning.Chief Minister Prof Dr Manik Saha welcome BJP national president JP Nadda at Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport here in Agartala city with traditional ‘Risha’ and floral bouquet. He was also welcomed by the newly elected President of Pradesh BJP Rajib Bhattacharjee, Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma, former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb, MP Rebati Tripura and party’s Tripura ‘Prabhari and MP Vinod Sonkar at the airport.
CM Dr Saha in facebook wrote “Welcomed Jagat Prakash Nadda Ji, All India President of Bharatiya Janata Party at Agartala MBB Airport today. It is my firm belief that the organization will be inspired in a new direction through his entry into this holy land of Mata Tripurasundari.”
As per pre-scheduled programmes, BJP national president Nadda listened to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ inside the premises of MBB Airport along with state leadership. Thereafter, he received a grand welcome through traditional indigenous, Manipuri and Bengali dances and songs.
Nadda will hold meetings seperately with BJP state office bearers and state morchas’ presidents, BJP Janajati MLAs and MDCs, BJP ministers and MLAs, IPFT MLAs, and at last meeting with BJP Tripura Core Committee members at State Guest House here on Sunday.On Monday, he is scheduled to address an open-public rally at Khumulwng, the headquarters of TTAADC.
