BJP Office in Minister Kishore Barman’s Constituency Locked Over Alleged 50,000 Rent Dues

Agartala, 4th  October 2026 :   A BJP party office located at Durlabhnarayan Bazar under the Nalcchar Assembly constituency has reportedly remained locked for the past four days following allegations of unpaid rent amounting to around ₹50,000.

According to local sources, the office was locked following a dispute between the house owner and the party over outstanding rent. The party office has remained closed for four consecutive days, sparking discussions in the area.

As the incident has occurred within the Nalcchar Assembly constituency, the matter has also drawn attention in political circles. However, further clarity is awaited on the exact amount of rent pending, the circumstances that led to the office being locked, and the response of the local BJP leadership.
