BJP promises to capture 100 percent of 142 seats in East & NE India in ensuing LS election

Agartala, July 06, 2023: Party leaders of 12 states have promised good results in 142 constituencies of eastern and north-eastern India in 2024 parliamentary elections at Guwahati.

Ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, an important organizational meeting of 12 state-in-chiefs, presidents, organizational general secretaries and other office-bearers of eastern India, including eight from the north-eastern region, was held at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Bhawan, Assam Pradesh headquarters of Bharatiya Janata Party in Guwahati on Thursday.

A lot of discussion was held in the meeting to prepare the parliamentary election strategy. In the discussion, the alleged conflict within the party came up. All those present have pledged to put Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister for the third time by shaking off all insults, anger and protests.

According to a trusted source in the party, the BJP has about 50 percent of the 142 seats in 12 states of eastern India, including the north-eastern region. The rest of the seats are occupied by MPs from opposition parties. In this situation, strategy has been prepared in today’s meeting to take the percentage rate to 100 in the next election, to occupy 90 percent of the seats. Sources claim that it is certain that the candidates of the BJP and allied partners will win all the seats in the eight states of the north-eastern region, including Tripura.

Meanwhile, BJP’s Assam Pradesh President Bhavesh Kalita claims that the party candidates will easily win 12 out of 14 seats in Assam in the Lok Sabha.

At 10 AM on Thursday, the meeting started with the lighting of lamp in front of the portrait of Bharat Mata, wreath laying of portraits of Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Deendayal Upadhyay and patriotic song ‘Vande Mataram’ by the ensemble. The meeting was held under the leadership of BJP’s All India Organizing General Secretary BL Santosh. 12 state presidents, organizing secretaries, ‘Prabharis’ and other office-bearers participated in the meeting.

Among the top leaders were one of the party’s general secretaries and Assam leader Baijayantjoy Panda, North-Eastern party leader Sambit Patra, Nalin Kohli, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, former Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubir Das, All India General Secretary Dilip Saikia and others.

Karyakartas of 12 states including Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Tripura, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim participated in today’s organizational meeting. However, the top leaders of that state could not come for the panchayat polls to be held in West Bengal on the July 08 next, but others has arrived.
