Revenue Dept plans to strengthen administrative Infrastructre

Agartala: July 06. The Revenue Department has embarked on an ambitious mission to fortify the administrative infrastructure in the financial year 2022-23, augmenting the capabilities of the esteemed department.

Addressing a press conference, Principal Secretary of Revenue Department Puneet Agarwal said that under the ‘Mukhyamantri Cha Sramik Prakolpo’ scheme the government has allotted land to 1,910 tea worker families in the state.

He said that the construction of various administrative buildings was undertaken in the financial year 2022-23 to strengthen the revenue department of the state.

“Among these, the North Tripura District Magistrate office building, Sonamura sub-district magistrate office and 112 tehsils are currently being improved. For this Rs 50.42 crore will be spend. Moreover, construction of 42 new Tehsil Kachari offices was undertaken in the state during the financial year 2022-23. Construction work of more 20 Tehsil Kacharis has already been completed and 5 construction works have been undertaken in the Special Assistance to State Scheme in the financial year 2023-24”, he said.

The works include construction of office complex of South Tripura District Magistrate Office, Sabroom Sub-Divisional Magistrate Office Building, Kumarghat Sub-Division Magistrate Office Building, Kailashahar Sub-Division Magistrate Office Building and 38 new Tehsil Kachari Office Buildings.
