Agartala, 29th September 2026 : Tripura BJP held an organisational meeting in Agartala on Tuesday to review party activities across the Sadar (Urban) district and discuss preparations for expanding its ongoing public outreach programmes.
The meeting was attended by BJP State General Secretary Bipin Debbarma, Sadar (Urban) District President Asim Bhattacharjee and other party functionaries. Addressing the gathering, Debbarma said the meeting was primarily focused on strengthening organisational activities and coordinating with grassroots-level workers.
He said State BJP President Abhishek Debroy and State General Secretary Bhagaban Das, who has been appointed as the in-charge of the Urban District, are playing key roles in guiding the organisational activities. According to him, Das has already visited several Mandals and interacted with office-bearers in areas including Suryamaninagar and West Tripura.
Debbarma said the present meeting brought together in-charges of various Shakti Kendras and representatives from booths across the Sadar Urban district. The discussions focused on strengthening coordination between the party’s organisational units and improving its connect with people at the grassroots.
He also highlighted the need to take the party’s ongoing Seva Pakhwada initiatives to a wider section of the public. With the festive season approaching, he said the organisation would remain engaged in various activities and would work to ensure that the service-oriented programmes continue to reach people.
Sadar (Urban) District President Asim Bhattacharjee also took part in the discussions and stressed the importance of active participation by booth-level workers in organisational and public outreach activities.
The meeting also reviewed preparations for upcoming programmes and ways to maintain organisational momentum across the district during the festive period.
