BJP state president felicitated at Majilishpur

Agartala, September 10, 2022: The karyakartas of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of Sadar (Rural) district committee and 10-Majlishpur mandal committee on Saturday gave grand welcome to the party’s new president Rajib Bhattacharjee through a colour procession followed by a programme at Gitanjali Hall under Ranirbazar Municipal Council.

On this occasion, ICA minister Sushanta Chowdhury, who is also the MLA of 10-Majlishpur assembly constituency along with MLAs Dr Dilip Kumar Das of 4-Barjala assembly constituency and Krishnadhan Das of 3-Bamutia assembly constituency. BJP Sadar (Gramin) District Committee President Asit Roy, West Tripura Zilla Parishad sabhadipati Antara Deb Sarkar, OBC Corporation’s chairman Tapas Majumder and Majlishpur mandal president Gouranga Bhowmik were also present in the function.

Speaking on the felicitation ceremony, Chowdhury said “We all strongly believe that under the able leadership of newly appointed President Rajib Bhattacharjee, the organization of Bharatiya Janata party will be strengthened across the state.”

It is worthy to mention here that the newly appointed president Bhattacharjee had begun his tour for 10 organizational districts of BJP in the state starting with two-day visit to the North Tripura district. Eyeing to the upcoming village committee and assembly elections, the appointment of new party’s state president had boosted the morale of ‘karyakartas’ across the state.
