Agartala: August 07. A shocking incident unfolded in Brindavanghat area, under Khowai police station, as a dead body of a young man was recovered from a roadside water tank today morning. The victim has been identified as Santosh Gaur, a 30-year-old resident of West Rajnagar in Tulashikhar.
According to eyewitnesses, brick kiln workers were the first to found the body around 7 a.m. The body was found submerged in the water tank, raising immediate concerns among the locals. The workers informed the Khowai police station.
Upon arrival, the police swiftly initiated a preliminary investigation, but thus far, they remain perplexed about the circumstances surrounding Santosh Gaur’s untimely demise. As the investigation progresses, authorities have refrained from drawing any premature conclusions.
The police referred the deceased to the morgue at Khowai District Hospital for further examination and to determine the cause of death.
