Agartala, 17th July 2024: The BSF has destroyed 11000 Ganja saplings in Laltilla under Sonamura Sub-division today. As per BSF, based on a specific information , regarding one Indian national a resident of Village Laltilla under Jatrapur police stations growing Ganja plant nursery at the back side of his house.
After getting information a joint-ops along with Forest Dept and Police was planned and carried out. During the operation more than 11000 Ganja saplings were uprooted. Suitable legal action is being taken by the concerned department against land owners. BSF is committed to deal with the menace of Ganja and narcotics items in the bordering areas of Tripura.
