BSF holds yoga session at Maitri Setu on International Yoga Day

Agartala, 21st June 2026:   To mark International Yoga Day, ‘F’ Company of the BSF’s 114 Battalion organised a special yoga session at the historic India-Bangladesh Maitri Setu in Sabroom, South Tripura, on Sunday.

A large number of BSF personnel participated in the programme with enthusiasm and performed various yoga asanas and pranayama exercises. The event at the Maitri Setu, a symbol of friendship and cooperation between India and Bangladesh, carried a special message of healthy living, mental peace, and harmony.

Speaking after the programme, Deputy Commandant of the 114 Battalion, R. L. Meena, highlighted the importance of yoga in maintaining physical fitness and mental strength.

The initiative aimed to encourage BSF personnel to adopt a healthy lifestyle while spreading awareness about the benefits of yoga for overall wellness.
