Agartala, 22nd February 2025: Ratan Debnath, a shining star in Tripura’s business sector, has once again proven his excellence through his commitment to tax compliance. At the prestigious GST Awareness Campaign held at Pragya Bhavan, Agartala, which was inaugurated by Hon’ble Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha, Debnath was honored with the Best Taxpayer Award for 2024-25 on behalf of his company, M/s Sova Enterprise.
Debnath has consistently received this prestigious award over the years, sometimes for Annada Spice Industries, sometimes for M/s Sova Enterprise, and at other times for Annada Fertilizers and Agro Chemicals. This year, he continued the trend by securing another award for his exemplary tax contributions.
The event, organized by the Tripura Government’s Finance Department, aimed to emphasize the importance of tax compliance and encourage business owners to contribute responsibly. The ceremony also recognized outstanding taxpayers for their contributions.
The Chief Minister of Tripura, Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha, along with the Hon’ble Finance Minister Pranajit Singha, presented the Best Taxpayer Award to Ratan Debnath. Expressing his gratitude, Debnath stated that he was deeply honored by the recognition and thanked the state government for acknowledging his contributions. His employees also shared in the joy of this remarkable achievement.
