Sudhangshu stresses on timely implementation of govt projects

Agartala, 13th February 2026:  A significant district-level review meeting was held today at the Belonia Circuit House conference hall in South Tripura. The session was organized jointly by the Department of Scheduled Caste Welfare, the Department of Animal Resources Development, and the Fisheries Department. Officials from various departments and local representatives attended the meeting.

During the review, Minister for Fisheries and Animal Resources Development Sudhangshu Das examined whether beneficiaries under different schemes of these departments in the 2025–26 financial year were receiving government facilities within the stipulated timeframe. Detailed discussions were also held on ensuring the swift and effective implementation of ongoing development projects.

Minister Das emphasized that the government’s primary objective is to deliver services to genuine beneficiaries transparently and within deadlines. He stressed that no eligible recipient should be deprived of their rightful benefits.

The meeting was also attended by MLA Swapna Majumder, Dakashin Tripura Zilla Parishad Sabhadhipati Dipak Dutta, and senior officials from multiple departments.

The government reiterated its commitment to transparency, accountability, and punctuality in project execution, aiming to accelerate the district’s overall socio-economic development. Participants noted that such regular review meetings would make administrative activities more effective and result-oriented in the days ahead.
