Agartala, 12th March 2024 : BJP State president Rajib Bhattacharya claimed today that the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) will contribute to fulfilling the vision of Ek Bharat Srestha Bharat and Akhand Bharat.
While attending a door-to-door campaign in Banamalipur Assembly Constituency on behalf of Lok Sabha West Tripura candidate Biplab Kumar Deb, Bhattacharya stated that the CAA would act against anti-nationals.
“The Central government has implemented the CAA, and it is indeed a proud moment. India is facing challenges from infiltration and individuals who raise slogans against India. Therefore, this act will be against anti-nationals. Safety is a major concern. CAA will help fulfill the dream of Ek Bharat Srestha Bharat and Akhand Bharat,” he said.
In a proactive move ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Bhattacharya led a comprehensive public relations campaign in the Banmalipur assembly constituency.
The campaign focused on interacting with beneficiaries of various government projects, shedding light on the successful implementation and timely delivery of benefits.
During the outreach initiative, Bhattacharya engaged with individuals who had availed themselves of different schemes from both the Central and State Governments. Notably, particular attention was given to those who had received houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The State BJP president sought feedback on whether the beneficiaries had received their entitled facilities without any delays.
Addressing the media, he emphasized the Bharatiya Janata Party’s commitment to a nationwide program aimed at connecting with citizens who have benefited from various government projects. He highlighted the importance of conducting public relations campaigns to ensure transparency and accountability in the delivery of services.
Specifically, the recent campaign targeted Ward No. 23 of Banmalipur Assembly Constituency, where the beneficiaries expressed satisfaction in receiving government project benefits without any involvement in bribery.
