Case registered against 10 forest bandits for stealing timber

Agartala, November 06. Taking advantage of darkness, forest bandits steal timber from teak plantations in Churaibari area. The owner of the tree filed a case in Churaibari police station against ten bandits involved in this case.

It is reported that 12 expensive teak trees were chopped from the teak garden of Matsin Ali, a resident of Churaibari area, about a week back. In this regard, the owner of the tree, Jatsin Ali, filed a written case with the Churaibari police station against ten people involved in the theft.

It learnt that the bandits are- Balai Mia, Jasim Uddin, Chad Uddin, Ali Haider, Nurul Islam, Zainul Haque, Dai Mia, Alam Uddin, Altaf Hossain and Sihab Uddin. Police Station Second OC NT Halam is under investigation against these 10 mafias under case number 52/22 and section 379, 427, 34 of the Indian Penal Code. All the forest bandits are residents of Khadimpara of East Fulbari village under Churaibari police station.
