Agartala, 20th February 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Secondary Examination commenced today with the Bengali paper. The exam will be held from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm across various centres in the state.
This year, 125 schools in the state have joined the CBSE under the Vidyajyoti scheme, and their students are also taking the CBSE question papers. This is also the last year that the board exam will be conducted in Madhyamik, as the state government has decided to switch to the CBSE curriculum from next year.
On the first day of the exam, parents were seen waiting outside the examination halls of different schools, while students expressed their excitement and confidence. The exam will continue till March 10, 2024.
