Agartala, December 05, 2022: Union Minister of State for Education in Khowai district chaired a review meeting about the central flagship project on Monday. Sabhadipati of Khowai Zilla Parishad Joydeb Debbarma, DM of Khowai district Dilip Kumar Chakma, Additional District Magistrate Subhash Chandra Saha, Sub-Divisional Magistrates of Teliamura and Khowai sub-divisions Abhijit Chakraborty and Bijoy Sinha etc. were present in the meeting.
Moreover, BDOs of various blocks, drinking water and sanitation, education, electricity, social welfare and social education, agriculture and farmer welfare and district level officials of health department were also present in the meeting.
Union Minister of State for Education said in the review meeting that the central flagship projects are playing an important role in the development of rural areas of the country. Panchayats and government officials should work in close coordination for implementation of central flagship projects. In the meeting, he emphasized on imparting training to unemployed youth under Deendayal Upadhyay Grameen Kaushal Yojana to make them self-reliant.
The review meeting reviewed various central flagship schemes including National Education Policy, Jal Jeevan Mission, PM Kisan, Soghya Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Central Social Allowance, e-Shram Card, Pradhan Mantri Jandhan Yojana, Deendayal Upadhyay Grameen Kaushal Yojana in Khowai district.
The Singh also inquired about the progress of the implementation of all these projects and schemes in the district. In the review meeting, he also exchanged views with the district level officials on the central flagship project.
