Agartala, 4th April 2025: Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha has underscored the importance of expediting the construction of Agartala Government Dental College, highlighting it as a pivotal step in advancing medical education and healthcare in Tripura.
During a high-level review meeting at the TIFT War Room on Thursday, the Chief Minister assessed the progress of the new college building and hostel. He instructed officials to ensure the project’s timely completion while maintaining high construction standards.
The discussions primarily focused on infrastructure development, with an emphasis on quality control and adherence to deadlines. Dr. Saha reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to bolstering healthcare education and services, emphasizing that the dental college will not only enhance academic opportunities but also improve dental healthcare for the people of Tripura.
With this initiative, the government aims to strengthen the state’s medical infrastructure, aligning with its broader vision of a robust and accessible healthcare system.
