Agartala, November 24: The Second Zonal Youth Festival ended today within the auspicious presence of Sports & Youth Affairs minister Tinku Roy as the chief guest.
In his address, he appreciated this initiative of Central Sanskrit University as it provides a scope of cultural culmination with the presence of participants & dignitaries from various states. Further, he congratulated all the winners & participants for showcasing their talent through performance & sport spirits.
Besides, Prof. Raj Kumar Kothari, Vice-chancellor of the Sanskrit College & University, Kolkata, Prof, Ratan Kumar Saha, Dean, College of Fisheries, Lembucherra, Prof. Banamali Biswal, Dean, Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi, remained present as Guests of honour respectively.
Among other dignitaries mention may be made of Dr. A. Ranganatha, Registrar, ICFAI University as Special Guests. The valedictory session was presided over by Prof. Prabhat Kumar Mohapatra, Director, CSU, Ekalavya Campus, Agartala.
Coordinator of this Youth Festival was Dr. Biwaranjan Pati, HoD (Jyotish) & Joint Coordinator was Dr. Rajib Ghosh, Assistant Professor (Physical Education).
