Centre sanctions 2.5 crore mandays for Tripura in MGNREGA, CM thanks PM Modi

Agartala, March 21: The Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India has sanctioned 2.5 crore labour days in Tripura’s labour budget under the MGNREGA scheme in 2023-24 financial year. For this, a total of Rs 936 crore will be spent in the labour budget this financial year.

Chief Minister Prof Dr Manik Saha expressed thanks Prime Minister Narendra Modi and union Rural Development minister Giriraj Singh on behalf of the people of the state for approving this amount of money by the central government in the labor budget for the state’s MGNREGA scheme.
