Agartala, 22nd November 2025: Kailashahar’s Chitramkan Art School, recognized by the Tripura Art Society, hosted its annual prize distribution ceremony at the Unakoti Kalakshetra.
The event was graced by several distinguished guests, including Kailashahar Municipal Council Chairperson Chapala Rani Debroy, Chandipur Panchayat Samiti Chairman Sampa Das Pal, Municipal Council Vice-Chairperson Nitish Dey, Tripura Art Society President Kapil Kanti Das, Secretary Apangshu Deb, social worker Pritam Ghosh, Chitramkan Art School founder Binoy Kumar Dey, and Kailashahar branch president of Tripura Art Society Nirmal Sinha.
The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the lamp by Chairperson Chapala Rani Debroy, followed by a cultural program that set the tone for the day’s celebrations.
A total of 475 students were honored with awards for their outstanding performance in the 2024 Annual Drawing Merit Examination and for maintaining excellent attendance records. The recognition highlighted the school’s commitment to nurturing young talent in the field of art.
For many years, Chitramkan Art School has earned a reputation in Kailashahar under the dedicated leadership of Binoy Kumar Dey. The ceremony witnessed remarkable participation from both students and parents, reflecting strong community support.
In their addresses, the guests praised the school’s achievements and extended their best wishes for its continued growth and success.
