Agartala, 29th December 2025: A cleanliness campaign under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was organized today at Birchandra Manu Man Pathar Bazaar, jointly initiated by the Mon Pathar police administration and the Manu Youth Society. The program aimed to raise awareness among local residents about the importance of cleanliness and encourage active participation in the national mission.
The event was attended by Man Pathar Outpost OC Jayanta Das, Second OC Prabhat Tripura, Manu Youth Society President Nirendra Reang, spokesperson Sajal Debnath, publicity secretary Billal Mia, advisory committee member Ajay Saha, businessman and social worker Titu Debnath, Prabir Reang, along with several other dignitaries and community members.
The Manu Youth Society has been actively involved in various social initiatives beyond the cleanliness drive. Recently, the society organized a vibrant two-day children’s fair and food festival for students and young children in the Santirbazar assembly constituency. In addition, the group extended financial assistance to a patient in need of medical treatment just yesterday.
Speaking on the occasion, society spokesperson Sajal Debnath emphasized that the organization will continue its humanitarian and socially driven programs in the future. He noted that the collaborative efforts of OC Jayanta Das and the Manu Youth Society demonstrate how strong willpower can foster community service. Their initiative has inspired both business leaders and ordinary citizens to embrace social responsibility and contribute to the betterment of society.
