Agartala, 24th December 2023: Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha on Sunday said that society would benefit greatly if clubs and social organizations took the initiative to nurture the talents of children. “Children are the future of the country, and every child possesses latent talent. Society will benefit if clubs and social organizations come forward to develop the talent of children,” remarked Dr. Saha during the inauguration of the 5th Sishu Utsav & Blood Donation Camp organized by Apanjan Club at Bhattapukur under the Bordowali assembly constituency.
The Chief Minister also emphasized the need to create a fair environment in the club area to cultivate good citizenship among children. “If women can be involved in this work, a beautiful environment will develop in the neighborhood. Importance should be given to the traditional culture of the country to develop the talent of children,” he added. Dr. Saha highlighted the cultural heritage of Tripura, acknowledging the contributions of individuals like Sachin Debbarman and Rahul Debbarman to the state’s pride. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to developing the traditional culture of the state, particularly focusing on plans for the 19 tribal communities. Addressing the significance of blood donation, Dr. Saha expressed that it is a generous contribution that fosters relationships between people. Present at the event were Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dipak Majumder, President of Apanjan Club Sanjay Roy, AMC South Zone Chairman Abhijit Mallick, and other dignitaries.
