CM declares 3% Hike in DA and DR ahead of Durga Puja

Agartala, 23rd September 2025:    In a major relief for government employees and pensioners, Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha today announced a 3% hike in Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR).

While addressing the last day of the Tripura Legislative Assembly, the Chief Minister said that this Durga Puja is a gift for government employees and pensioners, with 3% DA and DR, which will be implemented from October 1, 2025.

Dr. Saha said that a total of Rs 125 crore extra funds will be spent by the state government for this purpose.

This decision is expected to benefit thousands of government employees and retired personnel across the state.
