CM Dr. Manik Saha emphasizes significance of hard work and dedication for students’ success

Agartala, June 6, 2023: Chief Minister Prof Dr Manik Saha on Tuesday interacted with the toppers of this year’s secondary and higher secondary examinations conducted by the Tripura Board of Secondary Education at Civil Secretariat here.

Congratulating the parents, teachers and top scoring students in Board examinations, CM said that the talent of students with distinction is necessary for the development of the state.

CM Dr Saha said that it is possible to achieve success in life only through hard work and dedication so that the talented students of the state do not have to go outside the state for higher education, various infrastructures of higher education are being developed in the state.

While talking to the students, the Chief Minister said that there is no substitute for hard work. This success is the result of the hard work of the students along with their parents, teachers. The Chief Minister opined that this result of the students has laid a foundation for their higher education. He said that the students of today are the future of the country.

Quoting the Prime Minister in the field of education, the Chief Minister said, those who have knowledge pave the way for the future and they will have the responsibility to take the country forward.

The Chief Minister said that along with studies, the mentality of doing something for the society and the country should be developed among the students. He also emphasized on students to develop themselves as real people as well as know the biographies of famous people.

The Chief Minister expressed the hope that in future these students will shine the name of their fellow kings and the country and will play a significant role in taking Tripura forward in the future.

The Chief Minister interacted with students who topped the merit list in the secondary and higher secondary examinations conducted by the Tripura Board of Secondary Education and inquired about their success.

During the interaction, the Chief Minister informed the students about their achievements, future plans, study methods, etc. The topped students expressed their excitement to interact with the Chief Minister.

It should be noted that there are a total of 28 students in the top 10 places in this year’s secondary examination and a total of 17 students in the top 10 ranks in the higher secondary examination.

Chief Secretary Puneet Agarwal, Chief Minister’s Secretary Dr. PK Chakraborty, Education Department Secretary Saradindu Chowdhury, School Education department Director Chandini Chandran and others were present.
