Agartala, 5th December 2023 : The 18th state-level fair 2023 will be held for two days i.e. on December 8 and p at Natintila Wangala Melarmath under the auspices of the Matabari RD block.
In preparation for the grand festivities, a comprehensive review meeting was convened on Tuesday at the Natintila Community Hall, bringing together officials from various departments.
The meeting saw the active participation Wangala Mela Committee Chairman and MLA Abhishek Debroy, Gomati District’s DM Tarit Kanti Chakma, District President Debal Debroy, Panchayat Samiti Chairman of Matabari Block Sujan Kumar Sen, and the BDO of Matabari Block, among others.
The inauguration ceremony promises to be a momentous occasion, with the Chief Minister of the State, Prof. Dr. Manik Saha, set to auspiciously inaugurate the event. Joining him will be the Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, and other dignitaries, marking the commencement of the two-day extravaganza.
The State-level Mela stands as a cultural and communal celebration, showcasing the rich heritage and diverse traditions of the region. Attendees can look forward to an array of festivities, cultural performances, and vibrant displays, making the event a highlight on the regional calendar.
