Agartala, 3rd February 2026: Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha is set to inaugurate the four-day ‘Milan Mela 2026’ at the Fatikroy Higher Secondary School playground in Kumarghat tomorrow.
The inaugural ceremony will be attended by Industries and Commerce Minister Santana Chakma, Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Tinku Roy, local MLA Bhagaban Das, Saha Sabhadhipati Santosh Dhar, and other dignitaries. The programme will be presided over by Sabhadhipati Amalendu Das.
The cultural line-up for the mela features performances by local artistes on the opening day, followed by a Baul performance by Gautam Das on the second day. Popular folk fusion band The Folk Diaryz will take the stage on the third day, while the grand finale on the fourth day will see renowned Indian playback singer Kanika Kapoor enthral the audience.
Sharing the details, Minister and Chairman of the Fatikroy Milan Mela Committee 2026, Sudhangshu Das, extended an open invitation to people from all sections to participate and enjoy the four-day-long festive celebration.
