Agartala, July 14, 2023: Chief Minister Professor Dr. Manik Saha set to inaugurate the state-level forest festival at Dharmanagar on July 19 next.
In connection to this, a special meeting was held on Friday at the Vivekananda Swardha Satabarshiki Bhawan in Dharmanagar to discuss the arrangements for welcoming the Chief Minister.
During the meeting, an app called ‘Saral’ was unveiled, which aims to create awareness among people by showcasing various aspects of the BJP’s activities and developmental programs.
Following the meeting, a protest march was organized in Dharmanagar city on July 7 to condemn the activities of an opposition MLA.
State Assembly Speaker Biswa Bandhu Sen also visited the BBI grounds, where the Chief Minister will inaugurate the Van Mahotsav. The event was attended by Dharmanagar Mandal President Shyamal Nath, DMC Chairperson Pradyut De Sarkar, State IT Cell in-charge Chandan Debnath, District and Mandal IT Cell in-charges, social media in-charges, co-in-charges, and booth WhatsApp in-charges, along with the president of each booth.
During the meeting, Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha was welcomed on behalf of the people of Dharmanagar in recognition of his upcoming visit on July 19. The Saral app, launched on this occasion, is an important tool to disseminate information about the BJP’s activities and developmental initiatives, aiming to create awareness among the public.
