Agartala, 12th February 2026: Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha today unveiled the publication “Strategic Approach to Industrial Development in Tripura” prepared by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) at the conference hall of the Tripura Institute of Future Technologies (TIFT).
Speaking at the release, Dr. Saha emphasized that the comprehensive document outlines a roadmap to transform Tripura’s industrial estates by addressing current challenges while tapping into new opportunities. “The way forward will help Tripura industries integrate into regional and global value chains and accelerate industrial growth,” he said.
The Chief Minister extended his appreciation to the ADB team led by Country Director Ms. Mio Oka, along with all stakeholders involved in preparing the strategic framework. He noted that the initiative marks a significant step toward positioning Tripura as a competitive hub for industrial development in the Northeast.
This framework is expected to guide policymakers, entrepreneurs, and investors in strengthening Tripura’s industrial base, fostering employment, and enhancing the state’s role in regional trade and commerce.
