CM Dr Saha meets injured scribe at GB

Agartala: December 24: Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha today visited GB Pant hospital to meet a journalist who received injuries after a stage collapsed during program of Sonu Nigam.  Some journalists were injured when the temporary press gallery meant for journalists collapsed during the event of Sonu Nigam at Astabal Maidan on Friday night.

Among the injured is Sushila Debbarma, a journalist who is currently undergoing treatment at GB Hospital. Chief Minister Professor (Dr) Manik Saha visited the hospital on Saturday and inquired about the treatment of the injured journalist and spoke to the doctor on duty. Besides, he assured to provide assistance for any medical needs. While talking to reporters, the Chief Minister said that although Sushila’s injuries were not serious, doctors were keeping her under observation. It is hoped that she will recover and return home soon. He wished the speedy recovery of all the news workers who were injured in this incident.
