LF workers ready to reply on attacks: CPIM

Agartala, December 24, 2022: For the past several months, the main opposition party of the state, CPIM, has been organizing various organizational programs including marches in different parts of the state, demanding solutions to the burning problems of public life, including the protection of the country’s constitution, restoration of democracy.

A similar program was held in Teliamura on Saturday. As per the pre-scheduled schedule, on the call of the CPIM Teliamura Anchal Committee, a procession started from in front of the CPIM office in Teliamura on Saturday and a meeting was held at Shishu Bihar Chowmuhani via Karilong School Chowmuhani.

The meeting was chaired by former MLA Gouri Das and discussed by member of the CPIM Teliamura Sub-Divisional secretariat body Subir Sen.

Meanwhile, Subir Sen gave a speech today in a very aggressive manner, provoking the Left activist supporters of Teliamura. Subir Sen said, along with the entire state of Tripura, Teliamura too, the 57-month-long coalition rule has suppressed democracy. Sen claimed that people’s moral rights and right to speak are being violated along with constant attacks on the opposition party.

CPIM leader Sen also claimed in a meeting organized at Karilong School Chowmuhani that the current BJP-led coalition government has run a steamroller of oppression on the people through political terror day after day. Sen says with a lot of caution, a lot has happened and no more will be entertained. This left leader publicly warned from Karilong School Chowmuhani that whenever an attack is made from now on, activists, supporters including left youth workers are ready.

CPIM Teliamura region committee secretary Bijoy Modak, party leaders Monindra Chandra Das, Subhash Nath, Hemanta Kumar Jamatia and others were present on this meeting stage.
