MP Biplab Deb raises agendas to boost economy of Tripura

Agartala, December 24, 2022: During the 12 days of Rajya Sabha’s winter session, MP Biplab Kumar Deb today said that he was given opportunity to raise several issues for 11 days pertaining to boost the development and economy of Tripura in connection to the cordial relation between India and Bangladesh.

Speaking to media personnel at his official residence here this afternoon, Deb expressed his satisfaction over the central government’s proactive role in all the issues he had raised.

He said, “I am hopeful that the pending works left in the ambitious projects pertaining to the Indo-Bangla connectivity will be accomplished soon. The agendas were- inland waterway connecting Sonamura and Daudkandi, re-opening of border haats and opening of Maitri Setu.”

Replying to set of queries prior to assembly election in the state, Deb stated that no one exists without Prime Minister Narendra Modi as whatever demand is raised by TIPRA Motha has to come to the BJP-led government. Communists have no entity as they do politics based on old-thinking whereas politics have become advanced.

“People of the state are well aware about the developments and welfare initiatives taken by the government in the past five years. BJP-led government build the future”, he added.

At last, he appealed to the people of Tripura to favour BJP for the better future as this is the only political party which can assure development in all aspects.
