CM gives stern warning against criminals attacked his party workers, says no one will be spared

Agartala: August 30. Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha today met the BJP party workers who came under brutal attack yesterday while coming to attend JP Nadda’s rally at Khumulwng.He has also directed the police administration to take strict actions against anyone involved in the incident in which more than 20 BJP workers came under attack.

Today Chief Minister Dr. Saha rushed to the GB Pant hospital where the party workers are undergoing treatment.“It was unfortunate that at a time when the BJP National President is present in the state we have to witness such images of valence. Earlier also we have witnessed such violence. I have directed our police officials to take strict action against the persons involved in the incidents irrespective of political color”, CM said.

He further said that yesterday in another incident some more people were injured when two vehicles collided heads-on when they were going home after finishing the rally of Nadda. “No one will be spared and directed the police to take strict action by identifying them. Strict action will be taken whoever it is”, he told reporters.He however claimed that BJP have received many threats to shift the venue of JP Nadda’s event from Khumulwng to somewhere else.
