Agartala Aug 30: Taking a dig at the ruling BJP over BJP national president JP Nadda’s rally in Khumulwng, CPI-M state secretary Jiten Choudhury said, “Oiling and buttering won’t help. The tribals of the hilly areas and TTADC are well aware of the fake promises of the BJP”.
Jiten Choudhury was addressing at a blood donation camp organized by the DYFI Jogendranagar Local Committee on Tuesday morning in Vidyasagar Bazar, Agartala.Claiming Nadda’s rally to be a complete flop show, Jiten Choudhury questioned why the BJP didn’t organized the rally in the capital city?
He further said, “There was nothing in his speech about Tripura and its people rather than boastful praises of PM Modi”.Commenting on the attacks on rally-bound BJP supporters, Jiten Choudhury said,”Normally the CPI-M is accused behind all such attacks, but this time it was Motha”.Apart from CPI-M State secretary Jitendra Choudhury, West Tripura District secretary Ratan Das and many other leaders and members of DYFI remained present at the camp.
