CM inaugurates blood donation camp on ‘Tirodhan Diwas’ at Ramthakur Seva Mandir

Agartala, May 13, 2023: Chief Minister Prof Dr Manik Saha inaugurated a blood donation camp organized on the occasion of ‘Tirodhan Diwas’ of fourth Mahanta Maharaj Bhabatosh Bandyopadhyay under the initiative of Ramthakur Seva Mandir located in Banmalipur here.

Speaking at the camp, the Chief Minister said that blood is the most precious resource in the human body. It is much better if you can provide one in time. The history of blood donation in the state is very old. All come forward to donate blood voluntarily. As many as 38 thousand units of blood have been donated till February 28 of the financial year 2022-23. In ‘Sanatan Dharma’, the word of peace has come up again and again. But sometimes attempts are made to create an atmosphere of unrest.

This government is formed by the people. The government’s job is to work in the interest of the people. Governments are formed to solve problems. Earlier, the government used to create problems and keep them alive. But the present government is working to solve the problem, said the Chief Minister.

Editor of Syandan newspaper Subal Kumar Dey, who was present at the organized event, said that such camps have been taken to meet the blood crisis. However, such camps will continue in the coming days because blood is in high demand. Therefore, it is very important to take such initiative to meet that demand. The editor of Syandan newspaper wished everyone well.

Finance minister Pranajit Singha Roy, Chairman of Tea Corporation Santosh Saha, President of Temple Management Committee, Secretary etc. were also present in the function of the day. All those present visited the blood donation camp on this day and encouraged the blood donors.
