Target of BJP to win 2 Lok Sabha seats in Tripura, claims CM Dr Manik Saha

Agartala, May 13, 2023: Chief Minister Prof Dr Manik Saha on Saturday said that the aim of Bharatiya Janata Party is achieve victory in two Lok Sabha seats of Tripura.

Speaking to media personnel here, Dr Saha said that all eyes are on the upcoming Lok Sabha election and Tripura is having two parliamentary constituencies. Hence, the ruling party karyakartas had started their activities through public outreach campaign all across the state.

Apart from self-strengthening of booths from May 30 to June 30, several programs have been undertaken on the occasion of Narendra Modi’s 9 years as Prime Minister, he added.

CM said that the works done by the government under the visionary leadership of PM Modi for the welfare of people will be highlighted through presentation of leaflets to the common people.

A committee of 31 members has already been formed for booth empowerment. This initiative has been taken in view of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The aim is to ensure the victory of the BJP candidate in two seats in the state in a single Lok Sabha election, Dr Saha told reporters.
