CM listens PM’s Mann Ki Baat with people at Joynagar

Agartala, December 25, 2022: Chief Minister Prof Dr Manik Saha on Sunday listened to the Prime Minister’s “Mann Ki Baat” with common people including karyakartas of BJP and party’s state general secretary Kishore Barman at Joynagar area here.

Addressing the event after PM Modi’s “Mann Ki Baat”, Chief Minister Dr Saha said “We eagerly wait for last Sunday of every month to listen to the speech of Prime Minister Modi where he acknowledge people about various significant talks, happenings, etc for the betterment of the country. The PM also highlights various issues including self-reliant, Swaccha Bharat, etc. Discusses on the activities to be initiated during ‘Amrit Kaal’ after 75 years of independence.”

Dr Saha significantly commemorated “Vikash Purush” and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his 98th birth anniversary throughout the country.

“Former PM AB Vajpayee was the Prime Minister for 13 days, 13 months and full term of five years. Vajpayee may look polite, calm and soft-spoken person. He was a poet, author and politician. He knows how to love people and work for the country”, he added.

Chief Minister said “The incumbent Prime Minister Narendra Modi is following Vajpayee’s footsteps and proceeding forward with success. The central government under the leadership of PM Modi is working to provide benefits to the last person of the society. Similarly, our government in Tripura and party’s karyakartas are following the direction of PM Modi.”

Apart from Vajpayee’s birth anniversary, today is also the birth anniversary of Jesus Christ and not only the people of Christian community celebrate this day, it is been celebrated by all irrespective of any religion, Dr Saha said.
