AGARTALA: Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Thursday visited GBP hospital Agartala to inquire after the health condition of his mother who is hospitalized for the last two days.
Dr Saha was in Delhi for meeting the party senior leaders when his mother fell ill and she was rushed to GBP hospital Agartala, the prime referral hospital of the state. The gesture of Chief Minister’s family of getting admitted to a government hospital has been widely appreciated by the local public. Sources said, the health condition of the Dr Saha’s mother Priyabala Saha is improving and she is stable now. On Thursday, Dr Saha concluding his Delhi trip landed at MBB airport Agartala and went straight to the hospital to see his mother.
