College student’s bike stolen at Jampuijala, investigation underway

Agartala, 21st May 2025:   In a rare case of vehicle theft, Rohan Debbarma, a student of Khumulwng Degree College lost his Pulsar NS bike bearing registration number TR01AV-5330 to thieves late last night. The motorcycle was stolen from the corridor of his home in Govinda Thakurpara, Sangkuma Bari Village while the family slept. 

The theft has alarmed residents, as no such incident had previously took place in the locality. Jampuijala police visited the scene this morning and launched an investigation following Rohan’s complaint. His father Bidhi Debbarma is a farmer by profession lamented the loss stating that purchasing the bike had been a financial struggle. 

Concerned villagers are now urging heightened security measures as police work to recover the stolen vehicle.
