Collision between Auto and Maruti car leaves four injured at Santirbazar

Agartala, December 22: In an unfortunate incident on Friday morning, a collision between an auto-rickshaw and a Maruti car in the vicinity of Birchandra Manu Mosque under Santirbazar sub-division on National Highway 8 has left four individuals injured.

Local residents promptly informed the law enforcement authorities, and the Fire department personnel swiftly arrived at the scene, rescuing the injured and transporting them to the hospital.

According to eyewitness, the auto-rickshaw and the Maruti car were heading from Santirbazar towards Birchandra Manu. Allegedly, the Maruti car, traveling at high speed, collided with the rear of the auto-rickshaw, causing injuries to the three passengers and the driver of the auto. Fire department personnel, accompanied by medical professionals, reached the accident site promptly, providing initial medical aid and transferring three of the injured to the local Community Health Complex for advanced treatment.

Additional information reveals that, following the accident, the Maruti car left the scene. Subsequently, the police, arriving at the incident location, took the injured auto passengers to the police station for further investigation, while efforts were made to trace and apprehend the Maruti car involved in the collision.
