Agartala, 14th November 2025: Santirbazar Shishu Shiksha Mandir continues its tradition of organizing various cultural programs for children. On November 14, to mark Children’s Day, a vibrant celebration was held at the nursery school premises near the Shantir Bazar Bridge under the initiative of school head Utpal Patowary. The event featured a cultural program and a colorful procession with the participation of young students.
The program was inaugurated by Satyabrata Saha, Vice-Chairman of Shantir Bazar Municipality, while Sapna Baidya, Chairman of the Municipality, presided over the occasion. Distinguished guests included municipal councillor Rajib Chakraborty, noted social worker Amar Mitra, former student and physician Dr. Rahul Sadagar, along with school head Utpal Patowary and several others.
Speakers highlighted the significance of Children’s Day, emphasizing the importance of nurturing young minds. They expressed gratitude to the school authorities for arranging such meaningful events.
Following the speeches, the children staged cultural performances and took part in a lively procession, which drew enthusiastic participation from the local community. The atmosphere was filled with joy and excitement, reflecting the spirit of the day.
