Cong will completely destroy jungle raaj in state: Sudip

Agartala: August 09. Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman today gave a stern warning against the BJP-backed hooligans saying that Congress will bounce back and will completely destroy the jungle raaj.

While speaking with media at GB Pant hospital where Barman and other leaders went to visit a senior citizen who reportedly came under attack yesterday night by BJP-backed goondas, Roy Barman said yesterday night received information that BJP goondas in a motive to kill has attacked two senior citizens in Majlishpur. “At a time when people enjoy ‘Bharat Charo Andolon’ on 9th August keeping all the old memories that time such drama of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ has seen in Ranir Bazar. There is no limit of brutality in the state. They received severe injuries physically but injured mentally very badly as they are a senior citizen”, he said.

Roy Barman further said that such attacks are continued in the Majlishpur as on 9th August Congress will hold a Padyatra.“But police didn’t give us any permission as BJP has already taken programme on 8, 9 , 10 and did the same in Mohanpur. The people who came under attack are nowhere engaged with these programs. It is true that they came under attack as they are supporting Congress and maintaining a distance from BJP. In a motive to kill them, BJP goondas attacked them. Police are aware of everything. However Police didn’t do any preliminary interrogation”, Barman alleged.He further termed the rule of the BJP as ‘Jungle Raaj’.“Such situation proved that in our state jungle raaj is prevailing. We will bounce back and can’t tolerate such things. We will completely destroy the jungle raaj”, he said.
