Congress, CPIM & TIPRA are seasonal birds: Rajya Sabha MP Biplab Deb

Agartala, December 03, 2022: Former Chief Minister and lone Rajya Sabha MP from the state Biplab Kumar Deb on Saturday trained his guns on the opposition political parties calling Congress, CPIM and TIPRA seasonal political parties.

“Unlike Bharatiya Janata Party that keeps public contact round the year be it polls or not, parties like Congress, CPIM and TIPRA only show their face during the election times. The BJP workers, on the other hand, are consistent in their effort to connect with voters and resolve their grievances if found any. We are a party with differences. Elections are not our priority, we work for the service of humanity”, said Deb while addressing a public meeting organized by BJP Janajati Morcha at Chittamara area under Belonia sub-division.

“Days have passed when farmers had to hit the streets as per the whims of political leaders in lieu of government subsidies and benefits. Today, the government is transparent and people get services delivered at their doorstep. No worker of our party forces anyone to attend political rallies. Not only the income of farmers has doubled after BJP came to power, income of workers in different unorganized sectors has also increased because of our all out efforts to create a conducive atmosphere for growth of business”, said Deb.

The former Chief Minister also said that the ouster of communist party was a new sunshine for the state.
