Agartala, December 03, 2022: Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Saturday claimed that a section of the political parties are trying to put a blockade on the state’s overall growth in order to score some brownie points. He said, they are anti-development and have nothing to offer to the people.
Dr Saha was addressing the inaugural session of a number of development projects in North Tripura district during his second day of the tour. Dr Saha launched the website of Dharmanagar college alumni association and later reached Haflong for inauguration and foundation stone laying of a slew of projects. The Chief Minister also visited the Tilthai Primary Health Centre where he was impressed by the cleanliness of the hospital.
“All the government hospitals should study the cleanliness model adopted by the hospital. Each of the government hospitals should be clean like this every time”, said Dr Saha.
Listing the government’s achievements in different sectors, Dr Saha said, “The health sector of the state has seen a total face shift in the last couple of years. Now complicated surgeries of heart and other critical organs are available in the state”.
The Chief Minister also inaugurated and distributed 39 stalls among the people of Haflong Cherra tea garden area.
