Consultation on ‘Technology in Governance’ held in Agartala

Agartala, 5th  October 2026 :  A consultation meeting on the theme “Technology in Governance” was held today at the Smart Training Centre, IT Bhavan, Agartala, as part of preparations for the upcoming 6th National Conference of Chief Secretaries.

The meeting was chaired by Jeya Ragul Geshan B, IFS, Director, IT, Government of Tripura. Representatives from various State Government departments participated in the deliberations and shared inputs, best practices and innovative initiatives.

Discussions focused on three key technology areas—Data Governance, Government Data for AI and practical AI adoption; Geospatial Technology and Governance; and Microbiome Technologies for Governance.

The inputs gathered during the consultation will contribute to preparing Tripura’s comprehensive strategy and documentation for presentation at the national platform.
