COVID graph declining in state; 178 people infected and 425 recovered in last 24 hours

Agartala, August 02, 2022: In view of the last few day’s graph, it is seen that there has been a decline in the number of positive cases across the state. However, Tripura recorded 178 positive cases of COVID-19 with a positivity rate of 6.49 percent in the last 24 hours.

The state Health department on Tuesday released a Media Bulletin and it revealed that a total of 2,743 samples comprising 2,677 RATs and 66 RTPCRs were tested. Among these tested samples, a total of 178 positive cases were recorded comprising 172 of RATs and 6 of RTPCRs. However, 425 patients recovered in last 24 hours.

Out of 178 positive cases, 26 of them are from West Tripura district, 11 in Sepahijala district, 21 in Gomati district, 10 in Dhalai district, 30 in North Tripura district, 17 in Unakoti district and 55 in South Tripura district and 08 in Khowai district, the bulletin added.

Till now, altogether 25,50,492 samples were tested and 1,06,748 people were found positive across the state while 927 persons passed away and patients recovered are 1,04,295.
