CPIM candidates Jitendra Chaudhury & Prabhat Tripura files nomination papers

Agartala, January 27, 2023: CPIM candidate of 39-Manu assembly constituency Prabhat Tripura and CPIM candidate of 40-Sabroom assembly constituency Jitendra Chowdhury submitted their nomination papers for the 2023 Legislative Assembly elections by marching through a procession along with thousands of people. A long procession from Sabroom to the SDM’s office has created a new crimson glow. There is a taste of liberation in the procession.

While talking to reporters after submitting nomination papers for the upcoming 2023 assembly election, CPIM party’s state secretary and candidate for 40-Sabroom assembly constituency Jitendra Chowdhury said that the ruling BJP party has established a complete jungle rule based on anarchy in the last five years. The day to oust this jungle king, establish rule of law has officially started today with the filing of nomination papers. The election is on January 16 and counting on March 02 next.

Chowdhury said that the enthusiasm of today’s people has been seen, it can be understood that the majority of the people of the state have spontaneously marched against the anti-democratic, anti-constitutional ruling party of the last five years. He said, naturally victory will be ensured by the establishment of this new democracy on the second of March.

On the other hand, Prabhat Tripura, CPIM candidate of 39-Manu assembly constituency said that the ‘Jumlabaaz’ government has endangered democracy in the last four years. It has destroyed the socio-economic condition of people. In such a situation, thousands of people have vowed to restore democracy by wiping away this ‘Jumlabaaz’ government into the water of Feni River.
