CPIM, Congress jointly destroyed the state: Deputy CM

Agartala: January 24. Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma today lashed out at the CPIM for taking help from Congress in ruling the state which they have destroyed in the past 35 years.

Deputy Chief Minister has jumped into election campaigning in Charilam Assembly constituency. An election meeting was held on the initiative of Tapashili Jati Morcha Charilam Mandal on Tuesday. Deputy Chief Minister and Charilam MLA Jishnu Dev Varma were present at the meeting held at South Charilam School Chowmuhani.

In the election meeting, Deputy Chief Minister said that the Congress has turned into a wrestling match with the CPIM. “You can watch more dramas in the future. In last 70 years CPIM ruled the state taking help from Congress. The work done in Charilam in five years could not be done in seventy years. What have they done except corruption and terrorism. MLAs were killed during the CPM era”, he said.

He appealed all the people not to get confused with the words of CPIM and Congress and urged to stay with the development. Besides, BJP district vice-president Amal Debnath, Tapashili Jati Morcha mandal president Rajesh Das, block chairperson Rakhi Das Kar, SC Morcha district vice-president Bapi Das and others were present.
