Agartala, 23rd April 2025: CPIM’s Sabroom divisional committee organized a peaceful silent procession in Sabroom town today in memory of tourists killed in the April 22nd terrorist attack in Kashmir’s Pahalgam area.

Over a hundred participants marched through the town’s main roads carrying posters with messages like “Stand against terrorism” and “Demand justice for the killing of innocent lives.”

CPIM leaders emphasized the dual purpose of the procession: to protest terrorism and to express solidarity with the victims’ families. They condemned the attack, highlighting its impact on India’s pluralistic culture, and urged the central government to take stricter measures against such incidents.

The party also called for proper medical care for the injured and compensation for the bereaved families. The event concluded peacefully, carrying a strong humanitarian and political message.
